Well, one good start in a fight is to divide the opponent's attention. Felix makes some rocks fall in an alley off to the side. Nothing too far away, especially since he's not sure how well his powers will work here, but he should be able to manage enough of an angle that the monster can't look at them and the sound at the same time.
Unless it's a chimera or similar; that has crossed Felix's mind. But even if it is, distracting it and knowing that should be helpful.
